Pass 03:48
You shouldn’t have to pass that way. You shouldn’t have to pass away. It is not growing like a tree In bulk doth make Man better be; Or standing long an oak, three hundred year, To fall a log at last, dry, bald, and sere: A lily of a day Is fairer far in May, Although it fall and die that night— It was the plant and flower of light. In small proportions we just beauties see; And in short measures life may perfect be. You shouldn’t have to pass that way. You shouldn’t have to pass away.
2.
Shelter 03:19
I don’t recognize you I don’t know you now Part of my life Is what you cut out Think about a future Based upon a past You may ease the pain But it will not last
3.
Essence 05:41
Your truth lies here Between two lines Where colours blend And silence reigns Take a deep breath An endless breath That fills your lungs Boundless Weightless, timeless, bodyless An essence. When noise prevails Obscures your thoughts Running at once In all directions Look for this point Your point of truth Where everything starts And everything ends Weightless, timeless, bodyless An essence.
4.
Happiness 04:28
I’ve been asleep for many years My senses clogged by unknown fears In this unconscious state of mind Just carried on thinking everything’s fine But now I’ve had A little peek A subtle nudge A hidden sense In the midst of the forest I call your name Don’t know if you feel the same My eyes wide open My mind alert Sensing the changes That I observe A sudden depth The slightest shift Has stirred a bud And watered it And now a thirst, a thirst for life Is humming through my eager eyes Happiness is here for you baby Find happiness

Rudiments 02:58

I won’t try to set it down here The rhythm of that heartbeat Pulsing on the grey-black screen In the basement where they had you Wheeled down Your concern for meter Will go disregarded There will be no rhythm or rhyme No reason for why a beat follows a beat Except that it does And it does. And so there will be no metaphors And we will have no symbols There will be no imagery Except one, That one on the grey-black screen Our composition

El Culebres 02:50

I hope I’m not lost anymore I hope you’re not lost anymore I was mad at you You were mad at me Words that should be left unspoken
9.
Glittering lights on the horizon Neon blue meets moving clouds We all have the urge To touch the divine To ease our fears with belief To hold on to something big. Helpless state Want to take the easy way Close your eyes Be a victim of your life Peace spreads in small moments Of gratitude I feel all together now.

Noble Nature 05:14
You’re still around You’re safe and sound. It is not growing like a tree In bulk, doth make man better be Or standing long an oak three hundred year To fall a log at last, dry, bald and sere: A lily of a day Is fairer far in May Although it fall and die that night It was the plant and flower of light In small proportions we great beauties see And in short measure life may perfect be.

about

Noble nature is an album about cycles, about the passing of family and close friends, about how they still form part of us and about new little souls filling our lives.

The name of the album is inspired in Ben Jonson’s poem The noble
nature:

It is not growing like a tree
In bulk doth make Man better be;
Or standing long an oak, three hundred year,
To fall a log at last, dry, bald, and sere:
A lily of a day
Is fairer far in May,
Although it fall and die that night—
It was the plant and flower of light.
In small proportions we just beauties see;
And in short measures life may perfect be.

It was recorded at Can Pastallé, home to our studio and home to Ana and Gato,where farming & recording go hand in hand.
